Hedwig Sydney Shows Postponed!

The sneak previews for the Sydney performances of Hedwig and the Angry Inch look to have been postponed. This news has not been confirmed yet so if you're a ticket holder hang on to your boots and I'll update as soon as possible.

The national shows are still set to go ahead but rumoured problems with production readiness look set to prevent the Sydney shows going ahead at this time. As I said, this has not been confirmed and as soon as I have confirmation I will post an update. Tickets still seem to be on sale and I have put in a call for confirmation and have yet to hear back but it does look as though, at this stage, a postponement will be announced soon.

I'm sure the wonderful people at Showtune Productions and the fabulously talented Musical Director want it to be perfect before it goes before an audience.

Well never let it be said that the 'slip of a girly boy' isn't followed by controversy.

Bugger! I had a feeling something was awry when I saw Tina's disappointed/need a wine type mood thingy on facebook. Oh well, I'll wait and see.

It's official. The Sydney shows are not going ahead. whether or not they will at a later date is unsure. the show is still scheduled to go ahead in Brisbane.

Yes Ratchet I can confirm that Hedwig will now be played by the delectable Michael Falzon who is replacing Ezekial Ox.

Once upon a time there was a magic mirror and all that passed through it....hang on a minute that's how they replaced Heath Ledger in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Whoops wrong story.

The joys of musical theatre. One minute it's one person and the next it's someone else. That's entertainment...
