Cheryl, I hope the break is just what you need to get yourself better. Depression is so hard to shake, I know, because I have had periods of it myself where I felt like I was moving through a thick fog. It feels like there is no getting out. I know the advice is always - think positive, keep going, look for things to do that you like and all that but the one thing that I found really helped me was to stop trying to override the bad feelings, sit very still, allow the sorrow to come through and cry. It is amazing what a relief that is.
